What to Look For in an Area Rug
Things that actually matter
Material choice for your lifestyle. Wool is luxurious but requires professional cleaning. Synthetic (polypropylene, polyester) is stain-resistant and budget-friendly but less soft. Natural fibers (jute, sisal) add texture but stain easily. Match material to your risk tolerance for spills and pets.
